From County Judge Steve Young Monday night:

Monday we have five new confirmed cases of the virus in Milam County.  This is encouraging as it includes the weekend.  Seven individuals were discharged and no one was admitted to a hospital.  Today we tested 23 individuals in Rockdale, but we do not have the results as we used PCR tests today.  Tuesday we will test in Thorndale with the rapid antigen tests.

Last week we tested 77 individuals with 10 positive results.  Our testing is making a difference in controlling the virus as those who are infected are quickly taken out of circulation along with their close contacts.

Governor Abbott’s Executive Order 30 made many changes to the way we deal with the virus in Texas.   These changes were effective Monday.
