CAMERON—Five persons drew sentences during recent 20th District Court activity, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey as follows:
• Edward James Miller, 55, Rockdale, sentenced to three years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, after pleading guilty to evading arrest with motor vehicle.
• Kimberly Pierce, 48, Gatesville, was placed on five years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $477 in restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to engaging in organized criminal activity.
• Alissa Waller, 30, Carlsbad, New Mexico, placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to attempted possession of controlled substance (4-200 grams).
• Shawnquee Denise Clary, 35, Copperas Cove, was sentenced to six months in the Milam County jail, probated for two years, with standard conditions of DWI probation and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, driving while intoxicated.
• Robert Miller, 27, Cameron, was placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation, and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a possession of controlled substance (less than one gram) in a drug-free zone.
