Whe ee Count office of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will offer two Food Protection Management trainings; Sept. 16-17 and Nov. 4-5. Each training will be held in the Lee County Extension office, located at 310 South Grimes in Giddings. Class will begin at 9 a.m.
Registration is ongoing. Deadline to register for the November training is October 28. Information is available at the Lee County Extension office. Registration is $125 and includes the course book and exam.
Whe traininj is a certified course/ accepted by the Texas Department of Health.
There will also be two Food Handlers Classes, Sept. 24 and Nov. 6. The Texas Department of State Health Services requires all food service employees to promote the service of safe food. The class is a basic overview of food safety practices that are necessary to ensure food is served safely at eating establishments.
All trainings are accredited and accepted by the Texas Department of Health.
