Rockdale Police Officers made four felony arrests during the past week including:
• Patr ick Vega, 44 , Rockdale, was arrested on Wednesday by Ofc. Lentz on a local warrant for fraudulent use of identifying information.
• Kevin Martin, 35, Rockdale, was arrested on Thursday, by Ofc. Puente for false report to a peace officer and criminal mischief ($2,500 to $30,000).
• Nicholas Gifford, 21, Thorndale, was arrested on Sunday by Ofc. Lentz for assault of pregnant person.
• Steven Ellis, 53, Rockdale, was arrested on Monday by Ofc, Krejci for possession of controlled substance (less than 1 gram), a Capias Pro fine driving with license invalid, expired registration, failure to appear and a Milam County warrant.
Accidents
• Ofc. Lentz responded to 117 East Cameron for a minor two-vehicle accident on Thursday.
• Ofc. Hensley responded to Caffey Corner for a three-vehicle accident with no injuries on Sunday.
Calls for service Rockdale Police Officers responded to 305 total calls for service with 105 being for 911 emergency service.
Arrests RPD officers made 17 arrests during the past week including three each for warrants for expired registration, warrants for failure to appear and warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility. Two for driving with license expired, and one each for a warrant for giving false report to officer, a warrant for speeding, a warrant for possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), a warrant for violation of promise to appear, public intoxication and abusive language.
Incident report There were 18 incidents on the report this week including four for the report only, three for outstanding warrants, two for criminal mischief, and one each for theft ($100 to $750), theft ($2,500 to $30,000), theft of property ($750 to $2,500), criminal trespass, disorderly conduct/abusive language, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, failure to comply with Rent Stabilization Order, assault of pregnant person and silent or abusive calls to 911.
