Four felony arrests, one traffic accident during the past week

Rockdale Police Officers made four felony arrests during the past week including: • Charles Ray Wright, 46, Taylor, was arrested by Ofc. Wall for possession of a controlled substance (4 grams to 200 grams), two counts of possession of a controlled substance (less than 28 grams), and driving with license invalid with previous conviction.

• Phillip Rance Bennett, 37, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Lentz for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and for public intoxication.

• Robert Earl Evans, 60, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Davis possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces) and criminal trespass.

• Emilio Flores, 52, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Lentz for failure to comply with sex offender duty to register for life and for Capias theft (less than $100).

Accidents

Ofc. Lentz responded to Rockdale Federal Credit Union on Friday for a minor two-vehicle accident with no injuries.

Arrests

Rockdale Police Officers made 13 arrests during the past week including two for warrants for expired registration and two for warrants for failure to appear, and one each for a Bell County warrant for driving with license expired, a warrant for displaying a fictitious license plate, a warrant for theft of property (less than $100), terroristic threat with fear of serious bodily injury, public intoxication, criminal trespass, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), DWI and driving with license invalid.

Calls for service

Rockdale Police Officers responded to 300 total calls for service during the past seven days including 128 for 911 emergency service.

There were 14 incidents on the report for the past seven days including two for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), and one each for possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams), possession of a controlled substance (28 grams), a Bell County warrant, interview room, criminal trespass, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), theft, public intoxication, failure to comply with sex offender duty to register, assault and driving with license invalid.
