Rockdale Police Officers made four felony arrests during the past week including:
• Austin Blaire Rydell, 56, Taylor, was arrested Wednesday by Ofc. Krejci for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and for a Williamson County warrant for striking an unattended vehicle.
• Niels Hunt Beery, 67, Rockdale, was arrested on Thursday by Ofc. Parker on a local warrant for burglary of habitation.
• Carlos Rubin, 46, Rockdale, was arrested on four Milam County Sheriff’s Department warrants for bond surrender and was transported to the Milam County jail by a deputy.
• Emilio Flores, 51, Rockdale, was arrested Monday by Ofc. Hensley on an outstanding warrant from the Austin Police Department for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
Arrests
RPD officers made two arrests during the past week including one each for striking an unattended vehicle and terroristic threats.
Calls for service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 289 calls during the past week with 102 for 911 emergency service.
Incident report
There were 14 incidents on the report this past week including five interview room, three outstanding warrants, two for burglary of a vehicle, and one each for possession of controlled substance (less than one gram), criminal mischief ($1,500 to $20,000), driving with license invalid with previous conviction and duty on striking fixture/landscape on highway (greater than $200).
Accidents
RPD officers responded to two accidents during the past week including:
• Ofc. Puente responded to Josie/Cameron Avenue on Tuesday for a minor two-vehicle accident.
• Ofc. Hensley and Sgt. Fain responded to a one-vehicle accident on East Cameron Avenue at Yoakum Street on Wednesday. Vehicle had driven up a guide wire and fallen on its side.
