Rockdale Police Officers made four felony arrests during the past week including:
• Matthew Ryan Chester, 36, Taylor, was arrested on Thursday by Ofc. Brandon Lentz on a Board of Pardon and Parole warrant for possession of a controlled substance (1 gram to 4 grams) and burglary of a habitation, both parole violations.
• Dale Junn Diebert, 65, Rockdale, was arrested Wednesday by Ofc. Zachary Krejci on a warrant for failure to comply with sex offender duty to register for life.
• Osmar Gilberto Espinoza, 27, Rockdale, was arrested on Saturday by Ofc. Hensley for continuous violence against the family and was taken to Milam County jail.
• Cortney, 32, Rockdale, was arrested on Saturday by Ofc. Wachtel for a Milam County warrant for parole violation and was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram).
Accidents
RPD officers responded to two accidents during the past week including:
• Officer Puente responded to the 1000 block of West Cameron Avenue for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Thursday.
• Officer Davis responded to the intersection of Green and Travis for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Monday.
Arrests
There was only one arrest during the past week for an Austin Police Department warrant for DWI.
Calls for service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 292 total calls for service during the past week with 94 being for 911 emergency service.
Incident report
There were 12 incidents on the report this week including five or interview room only, three for outstanding warrants and one each for abandoning/ endangering a child, continuous violence against the family, possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and criminal mischief ($100 to $750).
