Rockdale’s Flying Tigers air enthusiasts club is offering free airplane rides at Coffield Airport every Tuesday evening.
Jimmy Cox, spokesman, said the rides will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last until dark.
“You can learn what’s required to be a pilot and join our flying club,” Cox said.
Aviation enthusiasts also gather to work on projects Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Coffield Airport is located at the corner of US 77 and FM 908.
