Above, The Sparky Thomason Quartet is always a big hit every time they play, and there were lots of fancy Derby Hats in the audience. There were many different kinds of music on Saturday, including Charlie Weyler, J.D. Pendley and Christian Wiggs. At top right, Brooke Graham acoustically serenaded the VIP-catered dinner crowd and was off to Nashville the next morning to do some more recording. Mona Butala checks out the wine selection at the En Gedi Vinyard’s booth. There was another popular wine merchant with a big trailer called Triple C Winery & Vineyard. Below, the delicious VIP dinner was catered by Hot Corner from Cameron. Right after dinner the Kentucky Derby was broadcast live on a big screen and there were lots of Derby games and prize winners.
