Donations are now being accepted for the upcoming Milano VFD Ladies Auxiliary garage sale in early April. If you have donations that need dropped off or picked up, contact Thurla Hubert (512-455-3635), Lois Love (512-455-7915) or Travis Yoakum (512-657-2660). The sale will be held April 5-7 at the Milano Fire Station. The building will be open March 29-30 and April 2-4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to drop off donations.
SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNEY—The annual Milano ISD scholarship golf tournament will be held on Saturday, April 21 at the Rockdale Country Club. Cost is $75 per player and is a four-person scramble event. The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. Prizes will be handed out for first through third place teams, longest drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one. ONE ACT PLAY—A “break a leg” to the Milano High School One Act Play group that was to have competed in area competition on March 21.
JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW—Good luck to all of the area youth participating in this weekend’s Milam County Junior Livestock Show in Cameron.
