I’m another year older. I celebrated my 80th birthday on Sunday with family and friends who are like family. I know I can’t do some of the things I did at an earlier age, but I don’t care. If it is something that I need done, I just ask for help and always get it. I thank God for my family and friends.
A reminder about Vacation Bible School at the Baptist Church. It will be Aug. 2-6 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Then the Back-to-School Bash will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 8.
I do not have the ages for these activities, but I’m sure you can find out from someone in the church.
It’s going to be time for school to start before long. I do not have a date for that, but I’m sure all parents know and that’s all that matters. Probably most of the students know too, and most are ready to see friends even if they are not ready for school to start.
