The months fly by, so it will not be long until the hot weather arrives, then cool off and time to put up the Christmas tree and decorations.
For young people, the time doesn’t go as fast. “Special days” take forever to get here. But for most of us, a daily routine is best.
By now many have already planned activities, trips, etc., for this summer. After all the fun time, it will be back to the every day routine.
You can tell it is a workday by all the trucks going down our county road. That is a good sign people are working.
Stephen Chapel AME Church celebrated their Black History Program with COVID protocols. Delores Fisher reports they had a nice service. Soul food was served. Rev. Kenneth Morris of New Hope Church in Rockdale was the guest speaker.
Johnny and Delores Fisher’s daughter, Ratessalyn Ferguson Burton, and their grandson, Rylan Jones, members of Petra AME Church YPB of Houston, collected can goods for “Souper Bowl of Caring.” They donated over 100 can goods to the Little Pantry of Gause, which is located right beside Gause Post Office.
