Monday morning I woke up a year older. I was born July 18, 1941. That’s a few years ago. I feel certain there are a number of others in Gause older than I am.
The weather is nice this morning. It may be hotter next month. No need to complain about the cold or the hot, we get what God sends.
Descendants of the late Prof. D.S. Smith family had a “grillin’ and chillin’ ” fun day Saturday at the home of the late Mrs. Dorsie M. Ferguson Wilson in Gause. There were many family members and friends from Dallas, Houston, Waxahachie, Bryan and Gause. That included Alma Gray who will be 100 in October. It was hosted by Ferias Ferguson, Ratsslyn Ferguson Burton, Gayle Ferguson and Derrick Ferguson.
