Monday is the Veterans Day program in Gause at the school, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Also on Monday, there will be a basketball game here against Westphalia, beginning at 5 p.m.
My sister, Edith Miller (Sissy), is in Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Hoping by the time you read this she is home and doing fine. She lives in Milano.
A reminder that the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at Gause Baptist Church following this Sunday morning’s worship service at 11 a.m.
I will have information next week about the Gause 4-H Club’s annual food drive.
Food collected at the school at this time will be distributed to those in need within the community. If you don’t have a student in the school, you may contribute to the cause—take your money to the school office and let them know what you are contributing to.
