Into a new year! Everything and everyone getting back into the daily routine.
Gause School resumed this week. Those finishing up in Gause have probably made their plans where they will attend high school this fall.
Not too many years away and granddaughter Addy will be starting. That should be an exciting time for all involved.
I blew my goal for last week—at the time of this writing, the Christmas tree and decorations are still as they were last week. No more goals for this year or maybe until I die! Just going to take one day at a time.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday there will be a basketball tournament at Gause School. Then on Jan. 17, they will go to St. Mary’s Catholic School for a game.
Lots of school activities from now until school closes for the year, which will be May 22, with Awards Day and an early release.
On Sunday, Jan. 20, beginning at 11 a.m., there will be a lunch benefit at Gause Baptist Church Family Life Center for Dendy Brown. Cost is $10 a plate. Eat there or take it to go.
