Gause ISD basketball team will play here Feb. 11 against Cornerstone. The game will begin at 5 p.m.
Remember the Austin Area Food Bank will be at Gause Community Center on Tuesday, Feb. 12. This is open to all members of our community. Most towns around our area provide this service. If you don’t live in Gause, check around your area for this food service.
This is Black History Month and Stephen Chapel AME Church will have a special service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb.

Gause Baptist Church youth will sponsor a “sweetheart” banquet dinner on Feb. 16 at the church Family Life Center. Tickets may be purchased from the youth or at Coats Grocery. Tickets have to be purchased in advance.
Wanda and Al Coats spent Sunday afternoon at Lake Limestone with Ray and Paula. They sat on the front porch and rocked. Report it was so pretty.
Patty and Cleo Stewart took a road trip Sunday afternoon to Tatum, close to the Louisiana border. They went to pick up some cattle.
The Denby Brown Benefit/Ride/Fund-raiser will be held at Nats in Milano on Saturday, March 30. The ride fee is $20 per rider or $25 with passenger.
Food will be provided for all participants. T-shirts are $20. You must pre-order and pre-pay before the deadline of Feb. 28. For more information, you may call Tammy at 979-571-5930.
There will be a live auction starting at 4:30 p.m. First bike out is at 11 a.m. Last bike in at 4 p.m.

Breakfast: Monday—Biscuit, sausage. Tuesday—Pancake-on-a-stick, syrup. Wednesday—Breakfast burrito, salsa. Thursday—Yogurt, graham crackers. Friday—Donut. Cereal, fruit, toast, jelly, fruit juice, milk offered daily.
Lunch: Monday—Corn dog, Tater Tots, baked beans. Tuesday—Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, glazed carrots. Wednesday—Spaghetti, garlic toast, green beans. Thursday—Cowboy soup, grilled cheese, cookie. Friday—Cheeseburger, fries. Sub, salad, baked chips, fruit, milk and vegetables offered daily.
