March 8 Gause ISD will have an early release at 12:30 p.m.
March 11-15 is spring break. Hope the weather is nice and sunny so all the students and families can have a great time.
On March 19, the Gause Bears will have a track meet here after school.
Then, as reported, STAAR testing will begin April 9 for fourth and seventh grades in writing and for fifth and eight grades in math.
Stephen Chapel AME Church in Gause is having their 45th annual Family & Friends and 130th church anniversary celebration on Sunday, March 17, at 3 p.m. Minister Chandra Hammond Donald is the guest speaker. Rev. Linda Wallace is pastor. For more information, call Delores Fisher at 979-279-5707.
This Saturday, March 2, there will be a bake sale on the porch of Coats Grocery beginning around 8 a.m. until sold out. This is sponsored by Gause Baptist Church youth. The sale will help fund their activities throughout the year.
