Gause United Methodist Church announced their Holy Week services. Maundy Thursday (with communion) will be at 6 p.m. April 18 and Good Friday services are set for 6 p.m. April 19. Easter service will be held April 21 beginning at 9:30 a.m. An Easter egg hunt for the kids will immediately follow the service.

Pastor Kyle McNeely invites all to “come and join us in worship.” The week of April 15-18 will be BOGO Book Fair at Gause School. Remember the Easter egg hunt at Gause Baptist Church on April 20. Bring plastic, filled eggs. Earth Day, Saturday, April 20, is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Rockdale Community Center, 109 N. Main, in Rockdale. Lots of participants and lots of “free stuff”— plants, seeds, refreshments and tons of other items. We have several Texas Master Naturalists in Gause that belong to the El Camino Real Chapter. Please keep Wayne’s sister, Sandra Dworaczyk in your prayers. She had an aneurysm in her neck and was taken to a hospital in Houston. Monday the seventh and eighth-grade students in Gause will take a field trip to Texas A&M University.
