We received a good report on Wayne’s sister, Sandra Dworaczyk. She is in a rehab center in Houston and it is near Jim and Mary Lee. She may get to come home next month, depending on her progress. Thanks for all your prayers and keep praying for her recovery.
The community Easter egg hunt was a huge success Saturday—lots of kids, parents, grandparents and friends. Thanks to all of you who took part in it. So many eggs for them to find and plenty of nice refreshments for them when they finished.
A reminder that on April 30 Gause 4-H Club will have a spaghetti dinner fundraiser in the school cafeteria. Serving time will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Don’t wait until the last few minutes to come or they may be sold out. You may eat in the cafeteria or get it to go.
This Wednesday begins the last month of school. I don’t have a calendar to see when in August or after the first of September that it will start. And I’m not going to ask a teacher this near the end of the school year. I feel like they are so excited that it’s summer vacation, as the students do.
STAAR testing begins in May. That time is getting near.
Gause United Methodist Church coordinated with the Franklin Methodist in the cleanup from the recent storm that did so much damage in the Franklin area.
We are thankful the Gause church could help out.
