The food at the youth and preteen camp fish fry Sunday at the Baptist Church was delicious and there was plenty of it. Thanks to all of you who had any part of making it a success.
The annual Cemetery Association’s fundraiser and Mother’s Day program is Sunday. Following the program every family brings a meal and we all share. This will be at the tables next to the cemetery.
Hope you and your family can come this year. If it rains, we go to Gause Baptist Church Family Life Center for the meal.
Last month of school—everyone is happy! STAAR testing soon, field trips and AR Carnival. Then summer vacations—fun time!
Pray for a sunshine-filled day June 8. That’s the day for Gause Baptist Church youth/preteen car wash fundraiser. Money raised will help pay those kids way to camp in July.
Reminder: Tuesday, May 14, Austin Area Food Bank will be in Gause at the Community Center.
Delores and Johnny Fisher went to Houston over the weekend to a birthday celebration for her sister, Laverne Ferguson Rat-cliff. Approximately 40 family and friends gathered at Pappasito’s on May 4.
