Wanda and Al Coats accompanied Paula and Ray Coats to Dallas on Friday to see their granddaughter, Caitlyn Coats, graduate from nursing school with an RN degree. She will go to work in Houston mid-July.

On Thursday, they went to Fredericksburg on a tour to see the painted churches.

Between rain showers everyone is out mowing yards. When Wanda and Al came home from church on Sunday, their great-grandson, Noak Coldiron, was mowing their yard. A great surprise and help for them.

If nice showers continue, we will be hearing the sound of lawn mowers all summer. That’s okay. Everything will stay green and give those who mow something to do. When it rains, there are complaints and when it is dry, same story, different verse.

I have “seasonal allergies”—spring, summer, fall and winter—so there is really no need for me to complain, but I complain anyway—“once a day, every day, all day long.” (Remember that song? Of course it has nothing to do with allergies. But I really like that song for no particular reason.)

Call and let me know what you and your family have been doing.
