Thanks to everyone for coming to the Gause annual Mother’s Day program and lunch this past Sunday. There was a good turnout and it’s always good to see those we haven’t seen in a year or longer.
We missed you who couldn’t come this year and hope next year you can make it.
Wayne and I visited with Sandra and Edward Dworaczyk and other family members and friends Sunday afternoon.
Registration is open for the Gause United Methodist Church’s Vacation Bible School. The VBS will be a one-day program on July 20 for kids entering kindergarten through fourth grade in the fall. Registration form is available at www.gausemc.org, at the church or by emailing umcgause@gmail.com. They will need this info to know exactly how many to prepare for.
Gause Baptist Church has several activities planned for the children and youth this summer. On June 8 there will be a youth/preteen car wash fundraiser. This will be to help pay their way to summer camps. If they don’t participate in these activities, they may have to pay the full amount.
May 26 will be senior Sunday/potluck lunch at Gause Baptist Church for members graduating from area high schools.
Students have been busy with STAAR testing this week.
Wanda and Al Coats joined family members for grandson Phillip Rasco’s graduation from Sam Houston University in Huntsville.
