You with children entering kindergarten through fourth grade for the 2019-20 school year, Gause United Methodist Church will have Vacation Bible School on July 20, beginning at 9 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. There is no cost. Gause Baptist Church will send their youth group to camp the week of July 9-13. This is for seventh through 12th grades in school Then July 22-26 will be children’s camp (grades 3-6).
Tuesday, July 9, is Austin Area Food Bank at Gause Community Center. This is open to everyone in the community. The truck arrives around 10 a.m., but you need to be there earlier than that to get registered.
Wanda and Al Coats went to Canyon on Thursday and saw the play “Texas” in Palo Duro Canyon with James and Sherri Rasco.
They also went to Morton, where Alfred was raised, and then to Lubbock and had lunch and visited with Ricky and Linda Coats. Sounds like they had a very nice vacation.
