Wayne and I joined Wanda and Al Coats and family for lunch Sunday, then spent the afternoon at the home of Keely and Chris Cooper, Connelly and Cameron and their friends. Had a great day!

Vette Ferguson Burton and Rylan Jones joined Deloris and Johnny Fisher for Mother’s Day. It was a surprise because they didn’t let Delores and Johnny know they were coming. They went to Bryan and had dinner with Doyle and Agnes Gray and took Alma Gray with them. They all had a great time.
People with jobs to go to will be getting a day off on May 25, Memorial Day. Then the next holiday won’t be until July 4. Sounds like a long time away for people who have a job they have to go to five days or more a week.
Every day I wonder, “What can I do today to pass the time?” Watch TV or work a word search puzzle or both? But thank God I can still do that and do a good job of both!
