The Gause Community Improvement Program has canceled their annual barbecue fundraiser because of the coronavirus. Looks as if “corona” is ruling our lives.
Maybe we will have an early freeze that is strong enough to kill all germs, but not knock off the electricity! I hate it when I can’t watch TV and work my word search puzzles!
The younger adults are playing volleyball at the Family Life Center on Sunday evenings. We enjoy watching. Come play or watch.
Tuesday nights we have adult Bible study and, afterwards, eat and play games. We Baptist eat every chance we have!
Gause VFD is having a fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 26. They will have barbecue and all the trimmings. They are selling tickets for a 50-50 pot. Coats Grocery has tickets for sale at the store.

Breakfast: Sept. 2, cinnamon bun, fruit; Sept. 3, oatmeal, sausage patty, fruit, jelly; Sept. 4, scrambled eggs, toast, jelly, fruit.
Lunch: Sept. 2, hot sandwich, vegetable soup, fruit; Sept. 3, chicken Alfredo, garlic bread, mixed vegetables, fruit; Sept. 4, Cheeseburger, fries, fruit.
