This year is flying by. Gonna be time to put up the Christmas tree and decorations before we know it. If we have any at our house, hopefully grandchildren will come around and do it. Surely as many as we have, someone will get that task taken care of.
I’m sure all the teachers, staff and students enjoyed having Monday off.
I don’t have an updated school calendar, so I can’t put what is going on at school in the column this week. I imagine there will be some football games if “corona” goes away. Be glad when it is a thing we can just remember as “that bad stuff that happened.”
GAUSE SCHOOL MENU
Breakfast: Monday— Muffin, dried fruit mix. Tuesday—Pancake-on-a-stick. Wednesday—Scrambled eggs, toast, jelly. Thursday— Burrito. Friday—Donut.
Lunch: Monday—Chicken quesadilla, tomato-corn salad, pinto beans. Tuesday— Meatball sub, baked beans. Wednesday—Roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans. Thursday—Catfish, hush puppies, scalloped potatoes. Friday—Sloppy Joes, fries.
