GENEROUS DONATION—Texas Alliance for Life made a $1,000 donation to Place of Hope after holding their annual fundraising walk in September. On hand for the donation were (L-R) Mary Ross and Kathleen Brannam with Place of Hope, and Joe Pojman, executive director of Texas Alliance for Life. According to Pojman, his organization takes 20 percent of the proceeds from the walk and distributes it to 21 groups across Texas similar to Place of Hope.
