Nominations for the 2024-2025 Gifted and Talented program will be accepted through the beginning of January. Please reach out to your child’s campus if you would like to nominate your child for testing.
This is Rockdale ISD’s program for students who have been identi_ed as intellectually gifted or talented. Goals include curriculum using dierent strategies for gifted students in addition to their regular classroom curriculum.
Students in the program will practice higher level thinking processes through problem solving, creative thinking, logic, communication, research, and critical thinking.
A multiple screening process using both objective and subjective criteria, will be used in the selection of students for the G/T Program. Upon selection of students to participate in the program next fall, parents will be noti_ed as to your child’s status.
