There’s no doubt this is a high-flying one and there’s no doubt he was near Milano. Reporter reader Jared Von Plonski took this photo of a bald eagle airborne near Milano earlier this month. Bald eagles aren’t common in Milam County but occasionally they are sighted. Rather famously, a couple of nesting bald eagles made a home in the Alcoa mines a couple of decades ago.
