The Milam County Go Texan Committee has announce the 2020 scholarship recipients from Milam County.
This year, the committee is awarding $16,500 to 13 deserving Milam graduating seniors.
They are:
• Jenna Meinardus; Buckholts.
• Jamie Condry, Heath Hollas, Kassidy Hundle, Rebecca Kostroun, Cameron.
• Abbigail Miller, Milano.
• Maddy Moody, Rockdale.
• Jacob Barron, Garrett Bernstein, Mason Liles, Jacob Pedroza, Corbin Preusse, Victoria Smith; Thorndale.
The Milam County Go Texan Committee raises scholarship money every year at the annual Milam County Go Texan Giveaway held the fourth Saturday in September at the KC Hall in Rockdale to award to Milam County youth.
It included a steak dinner, dance with the Kenny Orts Band, giveaways, silent auction, fund-raisers and a big giveaway at the end of the evening.
