“What’s the status of the new nursing home?” has been a topic of conversation since ground was broken on the $6.5-milllion project last July. Here’s the status. It’s going up. Co-owner Michael Bumpass told The Reporter rains had set back the project a couple of months “but it should be smooth sailing from here.” He predicted certification would be applied for in August or September with startup in October or November. The 84-bed facility will employ about 100, owners said.
