—“Winter” and the annual Rockdale Historical Society chili luncheon arrived pretty much together over the weekend. The Historical Society raised about $2,000 with its annual event, held Saturday in the New Salem HD Clubhouse at Fair Park. The event also featured a silent auction. Volunteer Jim McKimmey (R) serves up some bowls of red.
