CAMERON—Forty-nine indictments were returned Thursday by a Milam County Grand Jury, including one for intoxication manslaughter.
That indictment was handed down against 43-year-old Gause resident Abel Benitez-Garcia, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey.
Torrey listed other indictments as follows:
• Christopher Michael Garcia, 40, Rockdale, possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams) unlawful possession of firearm by felon.
• Karen Pyle Spivey, 52, Cameron, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Victorio Bentura, 47, Thorndale, assault family violence–impede breathing.
• Lamarcus Demond Moore, 32, Cameron, DWI-3rd or more
• Thomas Eugene Wells, 50, Thrall, DWI-3rd or more.
• Clayton Lane Pennington, 18, Rockdale, aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
• Antonio Vargas Jr., 34, Cameron, unlawful possession of firearm by felon and unlawful carry weapon on alcohol premises.

• Amber Rose Trejo, 24, Rockdale, tampering with evidence.
