What a great turnout to the annual Milano Volunteer Fire Department’s chili supper on Saturday. Even though the event had to be made into a “drivethrough meal” support still came from across the county to get some tasty chili and help out a great organization. (See photo, page 3A.)

WINNERS ANNOUNCED—The MVFD also drew for winners of its annual gun fundraiser.

LOVE RECOGNIZED—Also at the event retired fire chief Jesse Love was presented a plaque and golden axe thanking him for his 21 years of service as chief.

SPRING—Now that March is here, I think we are all looking forward to sunny days and springtime.
