The city of Rockdale received this asphalt zipper on April 8 which was purchased earlier this year. The zipper made its first appearance on a city street April 13 when it was put to work grinding up the asphalt and part of the base of Ramsey Street. Once the work is complete on Ramsey Street, the zipper will be put to work on other streets around town.
