Thorndale High School powerlifters went to Elgin this weekend, where THS senior Dylan Griswold won the 165-weight class with a meet total of 1170 pounds.
Other high performers for the Bulldogs were Anthony Vicknair, who placed third in the same division and Deven Cuba, who finished third in the 181-pound division.
Landri Martinka was the top lifter for the Lady Dogs, placing second in her division with a meet total of 650 pounds. Thorndale High School powerlifting teams are scheduled to compete next at the Rockdale Tri-Meet on Feb. 8.
