The groundwater conservation districts meets least annually to review groundwater management plans, accomplishments of the management area, and proposals to adopt new or amend existing desired future conditions for the relevant aquifers within the management area.
Groundwater Management Area 12 consists of: Brazos Valley Groundwater Conservation District, Fayette County Groundwater Conservation District, Lost Pines Groundwater Conservation District, Mid-East Texas Groundwater Conservation District and Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District.
