In an effort to raise money for child cancer research, the Rockdale Police Department started a “Beard it up/Color for the Cure” fundraiser to run from Nov. 1, 2020 to Jan. 31, 2021. To participate, RPD members will donate $50 for November, $75 for December and $100 for January. In return, male employees will be allowed to grow out full, well-groomed beards, and women employees will be allowed to wear any desired fingernail and/or hair color. RPD employees must donate the required amount for the month of participation.
