The Rockdale Independent School District will hold their annual Trunk or Treat event at the Tiger Stadium parking lot on Monday, Oct. 31, at 5 p.m. This event is for the entire family, and you’ll have a chance to win a $250 Walmart gift card donated by Alpha One Chevrolet Buick.

Rockdale Elementary School will hold their Fall Festival at the pavilion on Friday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. A book fair, ring toss, silent auction, cake walk, sock drive, bowling and a duck pond are available activities. Tickets are 50 cents each and proceeds will go to Elementary School activithe activities.

Elementar y students and their families are invited to the Rockdale Elementary School ’ s Spooktacular Cel- ebration and breakfast on Monday, Oct. 31. Students eat free and parent’s meals are $4 each. Kindergarten and firstgrade breakfast is from 7:20 to 8 a.m. and Pre-K breakfast is from 8 to 8:20 a.m. After breakfast all will gather in the gym for music performed by the students and a Book Character Parade.

Milam County Cowboy Church will hold their Harvest Festival on Sunday, Oct. 30, 30, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Everything is free and includes hayrides, barrel cars, bounce house, game booths, candy, food, a costume contest with prizes, face painting, cake walk and balloon art.

Rockdale Estates & Rehabilitation residents will be handing out candy on Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Murray Street Church of Christ will hold their Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Activities will include a bounce house, games and Trunk or Treat.

Milano First Baptist Church

will have a petting zoo on Monday, Oct. 31, at 5 p.m. All kinds of games and candy will also be fea- tured. This e v e n t is free to the public and the church is located at 211 S. Church St. At 6 p.m. they are hosting a potluck chili supper in the fellowship hall. Participants are asked to bring their best recipe to share. Aaron’s Rent to Own will host a Halloween party on Monday, Oct. 31, at 4 p.m. Costumes are encouraged, and snacks and drinks will be served.

Neighborhood Trick or Treating has been assigned by the PTO and RISD to take place between 6 and 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.

Peace Lutheran Church will have Trunk or Treat in the parking lot from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.

Meadowbrook Baptist Church will be having a “Moses Museum” on Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. This is a live walkthrough of the 10 plagues when the Israelites were led by Moses out of Egypt.
