That was the petition of more than 60 Thursday in a noon luncheon gathering in the Murray Street Church of Christ Fellowship Hall as Rockdale observed the National Day of Prayer. Three local pastors, including Dr. Dennis Brooks of New Jerusalem Christian Center (L) offered prayers for country, community and church.
