—US 77 southbound from the US 79 intersection was blocked for more than eight hours overnight Tuesday after an 18-wheeler flipped at the US 79 ramp. Police said the driver—30-year-old Sahal Yussuf Hassan of Des Moines, Iowa—was taken to Baylor Scott & White with what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries. US 77 between US 79 and FM 487 was closed through the night and re-opened at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday.
