Rockdale Earth Day will hold 2024 Home Garden Tour, an exploration of some of Rockdale’s finest home gardens on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“This event promises to be a delightful way to spend your Mother’s Day weekend, and 2024 is also the year of Rockdale’s 150th birthday so this is one of many special events scheduled during this year of celebration, said Rita Quinn, spokesperson.
Attendees will have the opportunity to wander through some of the Earth Day Yard of the Month winners.
“We invite you to enjoy these beautiful outdoor spaces that showcase the creativity and dedication of residents,” she added.
Tickets for the 2024 Home Garden Tour are priced at $10 each, offering access to a leisurely tour of each home garden.
“In collaboration with Hodge Podge Etc., participants can pick up their tour maps on the day of the event at their charming new boutique and nursery, located at 339 East Hwy. 79,” Quinn added.
