OLDEST PARTICIPANT—Eldon Ball won the “most seasoned” award at age 93, narrowly beating Dr. Lucile Estell.
REGENERATION SINGERS—The original director, Arnold Sherman, and about 25 of the original Regeneration Singers entertained and transported the crowd back to the 1970s at the 2022 Homecoming celebration on Sunday at the Patterson Center. The group sang “God Bless America, My Life” in honor of the original singers who have passed away and ended with “Aquarius/ Let the Sunshine In” that really got the audience going. The group decided to sing at Homecoming only a short time ago and got everyone together who could come in a very short time. No one would have guessed they had only one day of practice.
MOST MILES TRAVELED—Linda Yezak Lam, Class of 1972, traveled the farthest to get here. She came all the way from New Jersey. Homecoming board member Wenda Dyer awarded both Lam and M. Ball snack boxes from Grazey Bites.
BIG CROWD—There were 166 people at Homecoming 2022 at the Patterson Center on Sunday. The crowd enjoyed visiting and a meal catered by Touch of Class Catering.
