There will be no Rockdale Homecoming the second Sunday in June.
Deborah Currey, Homecoming Association president, said the 50-year Rockdale High School honors class would have been the Class of 1970.
She said that class, along with the 50-year Class of 1971, will be honored at the 2021 reunion along with Phillips & Luckey/Clyde Jones Family, which would have been the 2020 Honor Family. “For safety of all especially those who would be traveling here, we feel this is the right course of action,” Currey said.
