Rockdale High School graduate, and former U.S. Army sergeant, Frank Konarik, will be the speaker Monday as the Rockdale I SD holds its annual Veterans Day program in the RHS Gym.
The program starts at 10 a.m. and the community is invited to attend.
Master of ceremonies will be Army Lt. Col (Ret.) Art Free, and RHS teacher. Students from the high school, elementary and intermediate campuses will participate.
A luncheon honoring veterans and their spouses will be held at 12-noon in the junior-high commons.
All area veterans are invited to attend and be honored, according to Supt. Dr. Denise Monzingo.
