—Rockdale VFD responded to two vehicle fires in two days during the past week. Firefighters answered a call to this burning pickup a 4:30 p.m. last Tuesday (Feb. 13) in the 2200 block of FM 1712. At 9:08 the next morning Rockdale and Milano volunteers responded to a car fire at the intersection of US 79 and CR 334.
