—The Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department attacked a Sunday afternoon house fire at 723 West Bell from all angles. Volunteers responded at 12:24 p.m. to the home of Mary Glenn and her son, John. The RVFD was able to keep the damage confined to the bedroom where the blaze started. An electrical cause is suspected. Firefighters on the roof in this photo include Travis Fisher, Preston Muston and Joshua Todd. Also see photo on page 1A.
