POLICE REPORT

An incident in a car wash parking lot, in which a man told police he was threatened with a gun and beaten resulted in two arrests Friday.

Lt. Stephen Goodrich said Clayton Pennington, 18, of Rockdale was charged with aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was released on $25,000 bond.

Later, Nickolas Narvaez Underwood, 20, of Joshua, tuned himself in at the Milam County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with assault causes bodily injury. He was released on $3,000 bond.

Lt. Goodrich said the victim told police he had been harassed while driving on US 79 into Rockdale by persons in a vehicle and pulled over into the parking lot where the incident occurred.

ACCIDENTS—Police said a motorcycle accident was reported at 10:34 p.m. Feb. 27 in the 400 block of North FM 487. Driver was listed as Allen Bayer of Rock-dale, who was taken to the Little River-Rockdale emergency room by a passerby.

Vehicles operated by Carrie Ketchum of Lexington and Roxanne Proudley of Rockdale were in collision at 5:45 p.m. Thursday near Gatti’s Pizza. Damages were termed moderate.

Moderate damages were listed at 5:39 p.m. Thursday in front of Chicken Express in a two-vehicle accident. Drivers were listed as Raul Flores and Molly Graham, both of Rockdale.

A three-vehicle collision at 12:42 p.m. Friday at the Cameron-Wilcox (US 79-FM

487) intersection resulted in moderate damages, according to police.

Drivers were listed as Arianna Gonzales of Lampasas, Donald Perry of Rock-dale and Virginia Bickley of Hutto.

SERVICE CALLS—Officers responded to 202 calls during the past week and there were 113 calls at the Rockdale PD through the 911 emergency system.
