The Rockdale Fair Association will hold their annual barbecue cookoff April 11 and 12 during Jubilee Days at Fair Park. Jubilee Days includes food, dancing, a carnival, a rodeo and $5,000 in prize money.
Cookoff entry is $200 and includes three meat categories, a camp spot and four weekend passes.
Jackpot categories are margarita, bloody Mary, salsa, exotic meat and seafood.
The musical acts have been announced as Crossroads Band on Friday, April 11 and Billy Holt on Saturday, April 12.
