Jubilee Days was a big hit in Rockdale this week at Fair Park with lots of family fun, music and the popular Moore’s Greater Shows Carnival from Lyford.
Musical guests were Crossroads Band on Friday night and Billy Holt on Saturday.
Jubilee Days grand champion cookoff winners were Post Oak Cookers while the Smoke This team took home the reserve champion title.
Friday night’s first place jackpot winners were: Salsa: Diggin the Flavor; margaritas: KT Smokers; seafood: Smoke This; and dessert: Pee Paw’s & Uncle.
Second place winners were: salsa: Fat Back Cookers; margaritas: 2 Brisketeers; seafood: Here for the Beer; and dessert: Post Oak Cookers.
Third place winners were: salsa: Smokin Jokers; margaritas: Here for the Beer; seafood, Hawg’s Knuckle; and dessert: Smokin Jokers.
Saturday’s first place jackpot winners were: Bloody Mary: BW Smokers; and exotic meats: Salty Dawgs.
Second place winners were: bloody Mary: Post Oak Cookers; and exotic meat: DDMK.
Third place winners were: Bloody Mary: Pee Paw’s & Uncle; and exotic meat: Smokin Jokers.
